Purpose

The purpose of MEDACORD is to realise grass root – projects. These projects for investing in sustainable, economical, educational, social and technological development will be executed through, amongst other things, public private partnership.

MEDACORD plans and provides the necessary support for fundraising, governing and managing technical and financial means, supervision, technical and financial management, and transfer of contributions of private donors, international organisations, governments and governmental agencies for the implementation of identified projects.

The international network MEDACORD has as purpose to contribute to the sustainable economical development through grass roots projects based on equality and multilateral partnership with international participation.

The international network MEDACORD in this framework strives to social rights and trade union rights, including the collective bargaining as basis for a participative democracy and the fundamental freedoms with special attention for the combat against every form of discrimination based on nationality, gender as well as for social, ethnical, religious or philosophical reasons.

In order to reach the objectives of sustainable human development MEDACORD will stimulate the social and economical development, promote the gradual integration of the partner-communities in the world economy and strengthen the social basis amongst the partners.

MEDACORD will use in its programmes and operation amongst others the action plan agenda 21 of the United Nations, the Millennium-objectives and the Kyoto agreement as a reference framework.
